He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Miano and Louise Miano (Frances); and his sister Marie Miano. He is survived by: his sibling Brockton; his daughters, Theresa Saunders (Stephen), Barbara Rogers (David), Carol Miano, Susan Mackenzie (James) and Diane Rizzotti (Alberto); his grandchildren, Christopher Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Gianna Rizzotti, Eric Rizzotti and Kate Mackenzie; his stepgrandchildren, Harold Mackenzie, Andrew Mackenzie, Emma Mackenzie and Duncan Mackenzie; his brother Stephen Miano (Mary); and his nieces, Denise Kent, Donna Kelly and Stephanie Bosak.
