He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hassett (Jack) and Anna Hassett; his wife Carolyn; his son Paul; and his brothers, James and Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki, William (Catherine) and Susan; his brother Paul (Jackie); his grandchildren, Anna, Donald (Diana), Carl and Colin (Autumn); and his great grandchildren, Donovan, Drake, Danielle, Dorian and Wright.
