We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 95, Claire L. Nightingale of Falmouth, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ellsworth F. Nightingale; her parents, Bernadette Lafond (Morin) of Falmouth and Romeo Lafond of Falmouth; her sons, Ellsworth Nightingale Jr. (Buzzie) of Lisbon, NH and Peter G. Nightingale of Pittsburgh, PA; and her siblings, Jean Augusta (Lafond) of Teaticket and Romeo Lafond Jr. of Colorado.
She is survived by: her children, Flora Palmer of Centerville, Margaret Pacuska of Buzzards Bay, James Nightingale of New Bedford and Joan Nightingale; and her sister May Racine (Lafond) of Worcester. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
