He was predeceased by: his brother Paul McGilvray. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. O'Halloran (Stimpson); his stepsons, Michael P. O'Halloran (Mary T. McCarthy) of Dorchester and Brian T. (Jean O'Halloran) of Brookline; his grandchildren, Joy, Desmond, Molly, Sean, Abigail and Samuel O'Halloran; his siblings, Patricia McGilvray of Cohasset, Gerald (Patricia McGilvray) of Quincy and Marella (Robert Shea) of Abington; and his sister-in-law Barbara McGilvray of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
