It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara A Thompson of Falmouth, Massachusetts, born in Wareham, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 3, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fatima Ferreira (Botelho) and Joseph Ferreira; her husband Donald E. Thompson Sr. of Piqua, OH; and her siblings, Jane Silva, Joseph Ferreira and Patricia Ferreira.
She is survived by: her children, Marybeth (John Silvia III), Wanda (Len Oser), Donald II (Lauri Thompson), Kenneth Thompson, Bernadette (Scott Stephens) and Kevin Thompson. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and nieces.
Memorial donations are welcome to be made in Barbara's name to the Alzheimer's Association, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to researching the first cure for dementia and related care.
