With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur R. Ratsy of Falmouth, Massachusetts, born in Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Arthur departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Arthur leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ratsy and Elizabeth Ratsy (Tfika); his daughter Allison Ross; his sister Violet Johnson; and his brother-in-law Robert Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Burnell of Falmouth, MA; and his grandchildren, Kayla Burnell (JJ Ecker) of Mashpee, MA and Joshua Burnell of Falmouth, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals and Cremations - Falmouth (475 Main St, Falmouth, MA 02540). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Chapman Funerals and Cremations (475 Main St, Falmouth, MA 02540). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
