He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Murphy and Margaret Murphy (Reagan); and his siblings, Matthias Murphy, Paul Murphy and Owen Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia E. Murphy (Morley); his children, Jennifer Carr of Fall River, David Addison (Kayoon) of Fall River, Liam Murphy (Jamie Lacerda) of Somerset and Patrick Murphy (Caitrin) of Glocester, RI; his siblings, Margaret Curry of Manchester, CT, Rose Marie Swenson of Fall River and John Murphy of Fall River; and his grandchildren, Ashlan, Zoe, Elsie, Conor, Gwyneth, Margaret, Samantha, Nathan, Brendan, Reagan, Finn, Jack and Marty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
