We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2024, Walter Nicolau of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nicolau and Victoria Nicolau (Mello); and his brother George Nicolau. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Nicolau (Henaire); his sons, Dr. David Nicolau (Susan) and John Nicolau (Marie-Pierrie); his granddaughters, Dr. Samantha Nicolau of Boston and Victoria Amaral (Zane Amaral) of Fall River; his great grandchild Brewyn Walter Amaral; and his sister Theresa "Tessie" Silvia (Nicolau) of Westport. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the VA of Bristol County, 755 Pine St. Fall River, MA 02720.
