He was predeceased by: his parents, Seraphin Cordeiro and Dorothy Marie Cordeiro (Medeiros). He is survived by: his friend Aldina Camara; his sisters, Cynthia Gorman (Brian J. Gorman) and Susan Cordeiro; his nieces and nephews, Alison Fernandes, Daniel Fernandes, Kayla Cordeiro, Stephen Cordeiro and Aaron Borden; and also, Justin Amaral and Shannon Amaral.
