It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose P. DaCamara of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joao DaCamara; her parents, Joao Estrela and Maria Estrela (Tavares Garcia); and her siblings, Manuel Estrela, Alice Silveira, Libeira Sousa, Fatima Estrela, Lidia Torres and Luisa Almeida.
She is survived by: her children, John Camara (Debbie) of Fall River, Charles Camara (Noemia) of Fall River and Susan Richard (Jamie) of Swansea; her grandchildren, Christopher, Bruce, Brad, Nicole Camara and Sophia Richard; and her great grandchild Beckett Camara. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (189 Essex St, Fall River, MA 02720). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
