He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean P. Souza (Parker); his parents, Frank Souza and Georgelina Souza (Branco); his son James E. Souza; and his siblings, Frank Souza, Jr. and Cynthia Aguiar.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Souza, Jr. (Deborah) of Fall River and Patricia Munroe (William) of Fall River; and his siblings, Ruth Vallencourt, Dorothy Desmarais, George Souza and Beverly Parker. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
