She is survived by: her children, Marc Tavares (Ana), Carlos Tavares (Brittany) and Fatima Tavares (Jeremy); her siblings, Elena Amaral, Olga Amaral, Maria, Conceicao Amaral and Rui Amaral; and her grandchildren, Oriana, Savannah, Trinity and Tanner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
