He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Moniz (Soares); his parents, João Jacinto Moniz and Anjos Moniz (Duarte); and his brother Joao Moniz. He is survived by: his daughter Nancy M. Trainor (Robert J. Trainor); his grandson Zachary R. Trainor; and his siblings, Fernando, Joseph Moniz of Fall River and Maria Julieta Carreiro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1335 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
