“Earle Gaudette, "Duke" as I called him, was a close colleague on the City Council. "Duke of Earl" I said often was the Duke of the City Council for 22 years, and coincidentally enough, died on the 22nd of the month as if it was a reminder of his lengthy service. He positively influenced my life, as he did so many others.”
