Maria Wilczek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Wilczek (Fall River, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alojzy Prokopiak and Irena Prokopiak (Bogusiewicz). She is survived by: her husband Rev. Jan Wilczek of Poland; her children, Adam Wilczek of Fairhaven and Joanna Barker; her son-in-law Ryan of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Aidan Wilczek, Gabrielle, Maya Barker, Janelle Mercer and Rachel Daigle (Austin); her great grandchildren, Jason and Cameron Daigle; and her siblings, Barbara Klisz and Adam Prokopiak of Warsaw Poland.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home (690 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Trinity Polish National Catholic Church (37 Winthrop St, Fall River, MA 02721). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Polish National Cemetery (1388 Phillips Rd, New Bedford, MA 02745).
