It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Rodrigues of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Rodrigues to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joao S. Rodrigues; her parents, Mariano Botelho and Isabel Botelho Thomas (Tavares); her child Vidalia Hitchcock; and her sibling José Botelho.
She is survived by: her children, Isabel Melo (Fernando), John Rodrigues (Rosa), Virginio Rodrigues, Maria Sousa (Phil), Carmo Varley (Ben), Mario Rodrigues and Dina Azevedo (Robert); and her siblings, Dina Freitas, Mariano Botelho, Germano Botelho and Mia Alves. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, a great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
