She was predeceased by: her spouse João Dutra; her parents, Deodate Medeiros and Connie Medeiros (Beirola); and her siblings, Antonio Pimental and Eularlia Medeiros.

She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Pereira (João); her granddaughters, Kathy Elizabeth Pereira, Victoria Mary Pereira and Scarlett Rose Pereira; her great grandchild Tristian Montoe Pereira; and her siblings, Jaime "Jimmy" Pimental, Joao Luis Medeiros, Carlos Medeiros, Joseph Medeiros and Mary Jo Lima. She is also survived by many nieces & nephew.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:25 AM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Michael's Church (189 Essex St, Fall River, MA 02720). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
