It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Imaculada Furtado of Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Luis M. Furtado; and her father Antonio C. Melo. She is survived by: her children, Paula Furtado Amaral of Canada, Luis Furtado of Fall River, Roger Furtado of Fall River, Antonio Furtado of Fall River, Ines Furtado Alves of Fall River, Jose Furtado (Stephanie) of Somerset and Rui Furtado (Rachel Powers) of Fall River; and her siblings, Cecilia Medeiros (Duarte) of Florida, Anjos Sá of São Miguel and Azores. She is also survived by many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
