He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Moreira (Cabral); his parents, Joao Moreira and Maria Moreira (Cordeiro); his son Michael Moreira; and his siblings, Dimas Moreira, Maria Viveiros, Helen Perreira and Mariana Pedro.
He is survived by: his sisters, Maria Cabral of Tiverton, RI and Hilda Viveiros of Fall River; his granddaughter Melinda Cabral; and his great grandchild Autumn Rose Cabral. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Espirito Santo Church (311 Alden St, Fall River, MA 02723).
