He was predeceased by: his parents, Joaquim Medeiros and Urselina Medeiros (Homen); and his siblings, Antonio Messias Medeiros, Joaquim B. Medeiros and Gil Medeiros.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Botelho (Costa); his sons, Eduardo Botelho (Shannon Paradise) of Fall River and Paulo Botelho of Fall River; his granddaughters, Vivianna Botelho and Dora Botelho; his siblings, Rosa Correia, Eugenia Medeiros, Urselina Souza, Ana Furtado, Lebelia Lourencio, Encarnacao Medeiros, Margarida Barbosa, Beatrice Pavao, Domingos Medeiros and Horacio Medeiros; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Fall River Chapel (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
