He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Braz and Maria C. Oliveira; and his significant other Betty Oliveira. He is survived by: his son Luis F. Oliveira of Fall River; his grandchildren, Alessandra and Louis; his siblings, Margaret Lima of Middletown, RI and Carlos Oliveira (Silvina) of Fall River; his sisters-in-law, Connie Lima (Tony) of London, Ontario and Lucy Ferreira of London, Ontario; and his impromptu Pavarotti. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (48 16th St, Fall River, MA 02723).
