She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariano Raposo Paiva and Belmira Oliveira Alves. She is survived by: her husband Norberto S. Nogueira; her children, Maria Nagpal of Fall River, Janice Teixeira of Marshfield and Kelly Estrela (Kevin) of Fall River; her sisters, Alda Garcia of New Bedford, Conceicao Freitas (Lourdes Bravo), Belmira Arruda of St. Michael, Azores, Goretti Moniz of Fall River and Ana Melo of Swansea; and her grandson Yorik Sajbin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).
