He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel S. Furtado and Elsie S. Furtado (Silva). He is survived by: his spouse Gilberta S. Furtado (Arruda); and his son John L. Furtado of Fall River.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (48 16th St, Fall River, MA 02723).
