She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Oliveira and Alice Oliveira (Medeiros); and her sister Marilyn Cabral. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Pontes; her sons, Jeffrey Pontes of Westport, MA, Michael Pontes (Carolyn) of Dartmouth, MA, Stephen Pontes (Tracey) of Fall River, MA and Douglas Pontes (Amy) of Fall River, MA; her siblings, Richard Oliveira of Tiverton, RI, Kathy Fernandes of Westport, MA, Phyllis Pingley of Fall River, MA and Greg Oliveira of Dartmouth, MA; and her grandchildren, Chad Wilusz, Christy Vieira, Shauna Lee Pontes, Cameron Pontes, Allyson Pontes, Morgan Pontes, Cody Pontes, Ross Pontes, Liam Pontes and Rian Pontes. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
