He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia Miranda (Cabral); his parents, Antone Pacheco Miranda and Maria Miranda (Oliveira); and his son George Miranda. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Miranda, Jr. (Donna Novo) of Dighton and Christina Arsenault of Fall River; his siblings, John Miranda of Somerset and Mary Pavao of Fall River; and his grandson Dyson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
