He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano DaPonte Barreira and Ines (Carlos) of Jesus; his son Corey Leite; and his brother Mariano DaPonte. He is survived by: his daughter Jackalyn Ponte of Fall River; and his siblings, Ines Camara of Taunton, Gabriela Benjamin of Westport, Laura Soares of Fall River, David Barreira of Fall River, Idalina Campos of Fall River, Simon Barreira of Bristol, RI and Mariana Vincelette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
