He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joao Duarte, Ilidio Duarte (Juvenelia), Duval Duarte (Dawn), Paula Da Silva (Joaquim) and Diamantina "Tina" Amaral (Fernando); his sisters, Cremilde Raposo and Rosemary Paiva; his nieces, Patricia and Maria Raposo; and his nephew Paul Raposo. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
