With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan E. Burda (Fall River, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan E. Burda to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Burda; her parents, Armand Bernier and Theresa Bernier (DamBoise); and her brothers, Ronald Bernier and Edmond Bernier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Church (1598 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02724). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (2233 Robeson St, Fall River, MA 02720).
