She was predeceased by: her parents, David Teixeira and Alice Teixeira (Ponte); her sisters, Susan Teixeira, Janet Garcia and Diane Amaral; and her grandmother Alice "Vavo" Ponte.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Carreiro (Eduardo Mota) of Fall River. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
