It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James E. Cavanaugh (Fall River, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Cavanaugh and Rita M. Cavanaugh (Kelly); his son James Cavanaugh, Jr.; and his sister Joanne Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn M. Cavanaugh and Jennifer Cavanaugh; his grandchildren, Chelsie Stephenson (Frank), Darron Tucker, Jr. (Shannon), Craigory DoRego and Aidon Pina; his great grandchildren, Jahmier, Kyren, Nash, Emry Stephenson and Darron Tucker III; and his siblings, Robin Vieira, Lorie Moore (Ron) and Brenda Medeiros (Paul). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and three great nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home (690 S Main St, Fall River, MA 02721). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (765 Prospect St, Fall River, MA 02720).
