Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720).

Jerry's contributions to baseball were recognized with his 2004 induction into the Durfee Athletic Hall of Fame.
