She was predeceased by: her spouse Dassey B. Souza; her parents, Joseph Souza and Sarah Souza (Lima); her child Robin Souza; her grandchild Gunnar Peters; and her son-in-law Tony "Guy" Viera.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, Sharon Souza of North Providence, RI, Joanne Heaney (James) of Somerset, Beverly Viera Peters (Frankie) of Tiverton, RI and Joseph Souza of Billerica; her siblings, Joseph Souza and Irene Richard; her grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Ashley Mihelic, Jessica Heaney, Jay Heaney, Heather Marchand and Cheyenne Viera; her great grandchildren, Jace Spaulding, Lena Smith, Noah Smith, Paxton Mihelic and Nora Heaney; and her son Michael Souza. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
