She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Goulart and Filomena Goulart (Peixoto); her son Carlos Mota; and her siblings, Valentina Mota, Jose Goulart, Carlos Goulart, Fatima Arrais and Benjamin Goulart.
She is survived by: her children, Jaime Reis of England, Maria E. Jesus and Helder Jesus; and her brother Anibal Goulart. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
