Elza C. DeMelo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elza C. DeMelo of Fall River, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel P. DeMelo of Anne's Hospital; her father Manuel Felipe Couto; and her sisters, Maria Resendes and Olinda Resendes. She is survived by: her daughter Maria Resendes (Jose) of Ontario; her stepson Manuel DeMelo (Christyn) of Fall River; her sisters, Analia Melo of Montreal and Alice of Melo; her grandsons, Joseph Resendes (Rosemary) and Steven Resendes (Ariana); her stepgrandchildren, Kathy, Melody and Cadence DeMelo; and her great grandchild Mariana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
