He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose DeCosta Pacheco and Gilda Costa Pacheco (DeFrias); and his siblings, Jose Luis, Joao, Estrela, Zita and Liberta.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Pacheco (Mota); his children, Michael M. Pacheco (Elizabeth Powers) of Fall River, Dennis J. Pacheco of Fall River, Stacey M. Pacheco (Justin Mayo) of Fall River and Lisa M. Medeiros (Kevin) of Rehoboth; his grandchildren, Alexya Mayo, Aiden Mayo, Noah Pacheco, Avery Pacheco, Easton Medeiros, Lilliana Pacheco, Serena Pacheco, Caleb Medeiros, Harmony Pacheco and Melody Pacheco; and his siblings, Gilda Melo (late Manuel Jose) of Canada and Gabriel Costa (Manuela). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
