She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Rego Costa and Mary Costa (Cabral); her son John S. Mello, 3rd; her grandson Dustin Mello; and her siblings, Manuel R. Costa, William R. Costa, Irene Rebello and Claudette Dubreuil.
She is survived by: her brother John R. Costa (late Florence) of Fall River; her great grandchild Anthony Mello; and her niece Barbara Angelini.
