With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarinda Furtado of Fall River, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Diniz S. Furtado; her parents, Joseph S. Cavaco and Gloria Cavaco (Miranda); her niece Julia Kingston; and her nephew David Cavaco.

She is survived by: her siblings, Maria D. Medeiros and David S. Cavaco; and her nieces and nephews, Carolyn Paskowski, John Cavaco, Joan Medeiros, Jack Medeiros, Maryann Larangera and Carol Sorrentino.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clarinda's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
