She was predeceased by: her spouse Luiz Rego Carvalho; her parents, Manuel Dias Pereira and Virginia Calisto; and her siblings, Manuel Dias Pereira, Marcolina, Almeida, Maria Conceição and Silva.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carmen M. Sousa (Deodate) of Somerset and Beverly A. Tavares of Fall River; her grandchildren, David Sousa, Mark Sousa, Alex Tavares and Bianca Lage; and her great grandchildren, Jackson C. Sousa, Colin X. Sousa and Cohen Pacheco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
