He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Medeiros and Irene Medeiros (Oliveira); and his siblings, Antonio Pavao, Duarte Pavao and Paula Sousa.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Miquelina Medeiros (Mendes); his sons, Peter Medeiros (Kelly) of Dartmouth and Dennis Medeiros (Heather) of Fall River; his grandchildren, Chloe Medeiros, Isabella Medeiros, Devin Medeiros, Drew Medeiros and Dalton Medeiros; his sister Luisa Carrelas (Marcelino) of Westport; and his brother-in-law Manuel Sousa of Fall River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
