He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin DeAlmeida and Maria Candida DeAlmeida (Campelas); and his siblings, Antonio DeAlmeida, Fatima Venancio, Osvaldo DeAlmeida and Claudette Sousa.
He is survived by: his wife Mariana DeAlmeida (Raposo); his sons, Flavio DeAlmeida (Suzanne) of Fall River, Richard DeAlmeida (Claudia) of Westport and Claudio DeAlmeida (Celia) of Fall River; his granddaughters, Katelyn Rosenthal (Jeffrey), Melissa DeAlmeida (Andrew Bshara) and Cynthia DeAlmeida; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Ari. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Silva-Faria Funeral Home (730 Bedford St, Fall River, MA 02720). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Espirito Santo Church (311 Alden St, Fall River, MA 02723).
