He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin DeAlmeida and Maria Candida DeAlmeida (Campelas); and his siblings, Antonio DeAlmeida, Fatima Venancio, Osvaldo DeAlmeida and Claudette Sousa.
He is survived by: his wife Mariana DeAlmeida (Raposo); his sons, Flavio DeAlmeida (Suzanne) of Fall River, Richard DeAlmeida (Claudia) of Westport and Claudio DeAlmeida (Celia) of Fall River; his granddaughters, Katelyn Rosenthal (Jeffrey), Melissa DeAlmeida (Andrew Bshara) and Cynthia DeAlmeida; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Ari. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
