He is survived by: his wife Maria Lourdes Filipe (Medeiros); and his children, Dorothy Filipe of Somerset, Michael Filipe of Fall River and Susan Berlincioni of Hong Kong. He is also survived by grandson, alongside several nieces and, nephews.
