With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Moniz of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in East Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband Mariano Moniz; and her parents, Francisco Soares and Virginia Soares (Roman). She is survived by: her children, David Moniz (Roseanne) of Fairhaven, Paul Moniz (Donna) of RioRancho, NM and Cynthia Hayes (late William Hayes) of Danvers; her grandchildren, Jennifer Roderiques (Robert) of Fairhaven, DJ Moniz of Fairhaven and Daniel Moniz; and her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Nolan, Collin, Dylan, Caroline and Rachel.
