He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Vieira and Alice Vieira (Domingos). He is survived by: his daughters, Debra A. Bourque (Thomas) of Fairhaven and Kim M. Souza (Randy) of Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Stephanie Smith of Fairhaven, Dustin Bourque and Brandi Beulterman of New Bedford; his great grandchildren, Jake Silva and Paige McEachern; and his sisters, Patricia Souza (Roger) of New Bedford, Nancy Maxim (Richard) of Falmouth and Joan Sylvia (John) of New Bedford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
