Frates of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 4, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Westgate and Beatrice Westgate (Castro); and her brother William "Butch" Westgate. She is survived by: her close friend Gary Montembault of New Bedford; her children, Joseph Frates (Sugar) of New Bedford, Jesse Frates (Ashley Levesque) of Somerset and April Dugan (William) of North Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Amber Costa, Autumn Dugan, Cheyenne Figueiredo (Frates) and J. C. Frates; her former husband Thomas Frates of New Bedford; her siblings, Michael Westgate (Debbie) of New Hampshire, Patricia of Fairhaven and Diane Westgate of Fairhaven; her sister-in-law Ann Westgate of Fairhaven; and her sisters, Joann Manchester, Cindy Botelho and Debbie Loranger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
