He was predeceased by: his spouse Maryliss Ayler (Bissonette); and his parents, Ralph E. Ayler, Sr. and Alyse Ayler (Brown). He is survived by: his daughters, Alyse Ayler of New Bedford and Kerry Chavez of New Bedford; his stepson Edgar Fonseca (Rose) of New Bedford; his sisters, June Roderick of New Bedford and Barbara Chase; and his granddaughter Tanya Sherman (Ted) of Fairhaven. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
