It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Machado of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Machado; her parents, Manuel Vieira and Maria Vieira (Costa); her son Michael Machado; and her brother John Vieira.
She is survived by: her sons, Peter Machado (Nancy) of Fairhaven and Thomas Machado (Chieko Oi) of Fairhaven; and her sister Dolores Simmons of California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
