She was predeceased by: her husband Richard G. Carroll Sr.; her parents, R. David Hinckley and Helen Hinckley (Cowen); and her brother David Hinckley (Terri). She is survived by: her children, Richard G. Carroll, Jr. (Dottie) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Patti Slom (Elliott) of Easton, MA, Janice Gallant (Bill) of Lakeville, MA, Linda Crump (Tim) of Nashua, NH and Diane Fronzaglia (Don) of Lakeville, MA.; and her brother Robert Hinckley (Mary Lu) of Chester, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five nieces and 5 nephews.
