She was predeceased by: her husband George Gouveia; her parents, Fred Gouveia and Isabelle Gouveia (Freitas); and her brother Frederick Gouveia. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Gouveia of New Bedford, Karen Camara (Kim) of New Bedford and Matthew Gouveia of Acushnet; her granddaughter Lauren Vieira; her stepgrandson Justin Camara of New Bedford; her sister Anna Sylvia (David) of Willington, CT; her nephews, Steven Gouveia (Donna) of Florida and Douglas Sylvia of Freetown; her niece Susan Hood of Falmouth; and her friends, Ethel and Bob Costa.
