She was predeceased by: her spouse Verginio "Gene" Rego; her parents, Jerome Mello and Belmeda Mello; her brother John "Root Beer" Mello; and her cousin Alice Pacheco.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth P. Rego (Cheryl) of Raynham; her stepgrandchildren, Jill Smith of Berkley and Scott Wilkins of Raynham; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Devin Frizado, Aaron Smith, Nathaniel Wilkins, Jeffrey Wilkins, William Calef and Richie Medeiros.
