It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Bissonnette of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. McCarthy, Sr. and Gertrude McCarthy (Bradshaw); her siblings, George H. McCarthy, Jr., John J. McCarthy, Stephen McCarthy, Kathleen Reed, Lillian Couto, Mary Rodriques and Eileen St. Aubin; and her spouse Lyles R. Bissonnette.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Bissonnette, Raymond Bissonnette and Cynthia Brodeur; her granddaughters, Melissa L. Brodeur Lynch (Timothy Lynch) of Rochester and Kathryn Brodeur Henderson (Donald J. Henderson); and her great grandchildren, Kenley and William Henderson of Rochester. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
